Fireless Cooking

Fireless cooking is a traditional yet ingenious method of preparing food without continuous heat. Instead of keeping a flame or electric source running, the food is first heated to the required temperature and then placed in an insulated container—often called a fireless cooker or haybox. The insulation traps the heat, allowing the food to continue cooking slowly over time. This technique not only conserves fuel but also retains more nutrients and flavors in the dish.
