NCC

With a view to awaken the students to the needs of nation building, social awareness and social upliftment the National Cadet Corps has been established in IPS. NCC offers ample opportunities to students to learn and contribute in these fields. This unit of our College is quite dynamic and is committed to provide our students with opportunities to participate in a wide array of activities, and the students can choose either, depending on their interest. While the NSS unit regularly organizes Blood Donation Camps and social awareness campaigns for our students to participate in, the NCC offers them basics military training. Students enrolled with the NCC unit are instructed in rifle shooting, the use of ammunitions, basics first-aid, mountaineering and trekking through tough terrains, along with participation in drills and parades.

A unit of NCC (boys) established from the session 2012-13.The unit is attached to 8 MP NCC battalion. It is a unit of 53 boy cadets. NCC (girls) has been also established from the session 2016-2017.
