It provides a great support to ug students in developing a better understanding of various anatomical concepts and is also a great resource for pg students involved in their research work and other project works.
The Exercise Physiology Lab helps to seek nutritional and exercise interventions that can improve human health, well-being and performance. Our group has been particularly focused on the importance of hydration to delay fatigue and maintain safety during exercise, especially in conditions of heat stress.

Sport Psychology is the study of how Psychology influences sports, athletic performance, exercise, and physical activity. Some sports psychologists work with professional athletes and coaches to improve performance and increase motivation. Other professionals utilize exercise and sports to enhance people's lives and well-being throughout the entire life.
Sport psychology is an interdisciplinary science that draws on knowledge from many related fields including biomechanics, physiology, kinesiology and psychology. It involves the study of how psychological factors affect performance and how participation in sport and exercise affect psychological and physical factors. In addition to instruction and training of psychological skills for performance improvement, applied sport psychology may include work with athletes, coaches, and parents regarding injury, rehabilitation, communication, team building, and career transitions. To enhance the performance we must have knowledge about psychology and institute have a psychology lab equipped with psychological tools.
