ISTE Activities
The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) is the leading National Professional non-profit making Society for the Technical Education System in our country with the motto of Career Development of Teachers and Personality Development of Students and overall development of our Technical Education System.
IPS College of Technology & Management got the Institutional Member Ship in 2022. The Institutional Membership Number is . The college has established the student and faculty chapter as well. The ISTE chapter provides IPS CTM students access to ISTE conventions at other institutions, besides the opportunity to apply for ISTE student awards on a regional basis. The IPS CTM owes an Educational Institution Membership of ISTE for both faculty and students.
- The membership validity is life time for faculty and 4 years.
- At present the student chapter has around 150 student members and faculty chapter has 28 faculty members from the various departments.
- ISTE Student Chapter organizes various events like Inter departmental competitions, Quiz competitions, Project exhibition and Tech Fest.
- ISTE even organizes Value added courses, Guest Lectures, Workshops, Seminars, Conferences and Faculty Development Programmes.

The major objective of the ISTE is:- Providing quality training programmes to teachers and administrators of technical institutions to update their knowledge and skills in their fields of activity.
- To assist and contribute in the production and development of top quality professional engineers and technicians needed by the industry and other organisations.
