The Central Library is well equipped with modern facilities, CCTV camera and resources in the form of CD-ROMs, On-line databases, audio video cassettes, books, e-journals, patents, e-standards, theses reports, monographs etc. The library homepage will provide electronic access to various full text & bibliographical database & e-journals. The ever-growing library is a vast sea of information for inquisitive minds. About 25010 text books + e-books covering 5537 titles are available in the library. The Library subscribes 126 international and 83 national journals along with more than 35 periodicals which provide interesting reading and in-depth research knowledge. To nourish the minds with the latest information and to gain knowledge, the library is enriched with 5 Hindi, 5 English newspapers and Internet facility for on line research. The reading hall of the library provides conducive environment for complete concentration.

The Library uses Libsys software package which is an integrated multi-user library management system that supports all in-house operations of the Library. The Libsys consists of modules on acquisition, cataloguing, circulation, serials, article indexing and OPAC. Retrospective conversion of bibliographic records has been completed and 16,500 bibliographic records of books available in the Library, can now be accessed through the Libsys OPAC. The database of books available in the Library is being updated on day to day basis with details of recently acquired books. The Libsys package has been successfully implemented for the circulation activities, for faculty, staff and students.
